06-09 LED headlight bulbs. MUST TRY list
First of all, I am a huge retrofit fan. I did genuine morimoto 55w HID retrofits on my 02 sport edition. Also did 55w morimoto HIDs with upgraded projectors and lenses on my 14 limited edition. I now have an 08 V8 limited and picked the following LED bulbs up for shits and kicks... I am VERY surprised. See pics below. Of note the 25 foot garage shot is at a left slope and obviously uneven background. When I come across a straight wall will take a pic. It’s pretty obvious the cut off is fine. Huge improvement over stock. Light is uniform and wide. No hot spots or squirrel finders with 06+ projectors. Five minute install. 100% plug and play, (pull and rotate the plugs in the connector if it doesn’t fire up). Instantaneous max output and color with ignition. No waiting for these to warm up. Highly recommended for 06-09. Best bang for the buck at $29.99. As good as my prior HID set ups that cost hundreds more.
For the 03-05, you will need to swap the headlights out for 06-09 with projectors before proceeding with these bulbs. Too much scatter otherwise.
I HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SELLERS. This post was made to give back to this community.

Multiple requests for links to my exact headlight and LED setup including low beams, high beams, DRL with turn signals: Make sure to cross reference and order the correct bulb sizes as some of these vendors apparently have drop down menus and run out of stock from time to time

I was worried the technology wasn’t there yet... Wrong. The headlights are impressive. As good as my HID’s that cost $600-700 more.
Will consider upgrading the rest.

So am I understanding that these bulbs literally just plug and play if I have an '08? And these are just for the regular headlights (not the high beams), right?
Why is this the first I'm hearing about them??

100% plug and play. $29.99 for awesome light output. Technology wasn’t there, (affordability wise), until recently.

Definitely going to look into these, as I took a road trip last week that included a lot of night highway driving in areas where there wasn’t enough street lighting and found myself having to use the high beams a lot! Maybe my eyes aren’t as good at night as they used to be, but they were seriously lacking on those roads. Anyway, it got me thinking about trying LEDs, so I’ll definitely consider these. I’d also like to add them to my fogs (if they’ll fit my ‘04 projector fogs). I’ll have to look under to see what I have for clearance in that location.

The OEM bulb output is atrocious. Swap the 04 headlights to 06-09 projector headlights get these bulbs and you’re set. Otherwise too much scatter without projectors.

Post some pics of the packaging as well. Talk about quality... Just totally unexpected at $29.99.

I think I drove with candles 150 miles to Kansas City the other night. I need to do something about it. I was considering paying for a retrofit but I want to keep the setup as simple and durable as possible, this seems like a good alternative.

I'll have to try and get some pictures soon...I've had them in for just 4 days now but I am very impressed. I was worried that they would just throw useless light, but it seems like the projectors really help control it. I haven't been flashed by anyone while driving around.
It is nice to have road signs light up super far down the road even though the lights are controlled. The packaging was pretty solid and the bulbs themselves seemed of decent quality. For now, I will keep the original bulbs in the glovebox in case one starts acting up, but I don't foresee that happening.
Plus it is clean white lighting!
