Climate control replacement

I have a light out on my climate control LCD screen on my 05 Sport. Since the clocks seems to randomly lose time I thought I would just look at the cost of putting a whole new unit in. The only new one I saw online was on sale for $1000! Obviously a bulb change is what I’m going to do, but I’m wondering if, since my clock is going, should I expect the unit to go bad as a whole eventually? Also, any resources for a cheaper Toyota part? Didn’t call Toyota yet.

This is a simple fix. The bulb replacement is maybe $5. The clock loses time over time, as all clocks do. Adjust the clock as needed. No need to replace the entire climate control unit for $1000. I've had my 4runner for 14 years now, no issues, other than replacing bulbs on the climate control and adjusting the clock as needed.

Do you happen to have the part # for these lights in the climate control knobs? I have a few out and my local stealership is flakey and never actually ordered them the 3 times I've called about it.

This should give you what you need and their locations in the control unit, notice that there's a difference in the bulbs locations for the Limited dual control and SR5 single control panels/bulbs
