Replica TRD Rims?

Hey, recently been looking for summer rims+tires, ive decided to go with 265/70/17 falken Wildpeak at3/w. Now i was going to buy some TRD rims but they are quite pricey here in Canada, so i saw a local shop here selling TRD REPLICA RIMS+ falken tires DOT 2017/2018 for around 1600Canadian dollars. but was wondering if anyone has heard of a company named FastCo, it looks like a Canadian company wanted to know if anyone has any reviews on them

I was also curious about Replika rims, and started this thread in the 5th Gen section:

Alternative to 5th Gen TRD Pro Wheels - Replika Wheels?

I decided to go a different route, and stay OEM and go with rims from a TRD Off-Road.

Just put winter tires on those(blizzak dm-v2 stock size), they look a bit bigger than my original gunmetal trd rims, technician said they balance fine and should fit no problem.

These rims typically sell for 40-50$ a pop from the Chinese factories. Quality can vary. You're taking a risk buying these. They could be great or they could be crap and/or dangerous depending on the manufacturing.

I used to work for a company that dealt directly with the Chinese factories.

Just to make sure i'm understanding correctly... youre saying the 17" factory trd wheel replicas are around $1200 usd for you ???

I just bought a TRD wheel set for my 03 4runner online for 950 bucks shipped for 4 new wheels... which now that I look I wish I had the ebay option available at the time of purchase because you can have a set for $800...
https://www.ebay.com/i/263591789943?...4aAujrEALw_wcB

if thats really the case, message the sellers on ebay from the US and see if you can cover the additional shipment to Canada maybe? Would that not be an option? I have run replica wheels (non offroad but still) on my 3 other cars before (including a 95 supra) and they are affordable but yes, quality is questionable. I cracked 1 of them when I hit a pothole. So if it is to save some money vs an actual wheel I can't recommend against it... but if you're paying more for a replica wheel than what you could possibly source from the states for same price/or cheaper for an actual wheel than I just couldn't justify it
