Gonna have someone steer it back and forth to see if there is any play when I get home.

Sorry for the huge laspe in time but I've been working 6 days a week and haven't had time for any wheeling till last weekend. So here's what I have found out.
I have replaced all steering and suspension componets (obviously upfront) UCA'S, LCA's, gusseted steering knuckles, steering rack with new inner & outer tie rods, TC cam tabs, Icon suspension and Method wheels wrapped with Toyo open country MT 34's with the exception of the actual steering shaft.
Still after wheeling the steering wheel is crooked. I spoke with a reputable alignment shop here in Van Nuy's and the owner who also wheels with a wrangler told me emphatically that he always needs an alignment after going in the dirt. So my conclusion is he's correct and alignments are a necessary expenditure. Or learn how to do it yourself.
On the bright side I love the Toyo's and the Counteract balancing beads no death wobble like those shitty Goodyear Wrangler MTR's. I'll never buy another set again.
