So Tacoma hood, fenders, grille, and headlights. And compatible/custom front bumper. And repaint. Tacoma's don't have gas shock supports for the hood so that will need fabricated too. Not sure how they latch so hood pins will probably be necessary.

I imagine the hoods are similar in length to the 4runner, could probably use the 4runner hood latch on the Tacoma hood. Does seem kinda sketchy to have a hood only mounted with only 1 bolt per side.

I don't understand the whole making your own hood thing. Seems like it would be 10x easier to just modify the mounting points of a tacoma hood so everything else lines up correctly.

yeah my mcneils flares don't match either and it would probably be easier to do the fender to door. i would be stronger where the headlight meets
this conversion would be awesome if you wanted a sport hood and need new headlights.

Wow that looks amazing, I even like those holes in the front/rear bumper. Does anyone know more details about it? Look at the nice crease on the fender that runs off the headlight, looks awesome.

@thetaco4runner on IG. Probably the cleanest conversion yet. He did a lot more work to make it right without fiberglass fenders

I’m a bit biased here obviously .. but to me the taco front end swap needs to be accompanied by an aftermarket bumper and wide fenders.. otherwise it looks like a weird tacoma cab truck.. though the one above is super clean and definitely a lot of work.
That for sale ad is a clean rig too. Love it. Also love that he has the price point up there, when I inquired about selling mine people were giving me shit for wanting anything over 16k for it lol. (140k mile TacoRunner significantly more built out than the one selling in the link )
