That reverse polarity kit is very tempting. Can the LEDs that you can add on be had in amber?

Is it easy to read the white letters/numbers on the black background on a sunny day? (for ODO/HVAC) Also, can you do the heated seat switches? They weren't listed on the website.

I bought the first wheel he ever did. Function is 100% OEM. My wheel has the volume/track scan pad and source. Everything works and is lit up as it would be from the factory. Including cruise control, I'm realistically his first ever customer an he was awesome to work with. I sent him money for the wheel an we still text now like 4 months later randomly haha.

Unfortunately not for now. I found white to be the best color to use in regard to visibility. Possibly in the future though

Yes it is! Some of these photos were taken during the day and the display is still easily visible. And as for the heated seat switches yes! I apologize that I forgot to add that haha. After work I’ll make that change

The left hand controls all function exactly the same as factory plus the Bluetooth if you have an aftermarket radio with Bluetooth and steering wheel controls adapter. The right hand buttons are made to be duplicates if that is indicated in the options. Otherwise I can leave them as blanks. Currently there were no other controls supported

I love the LED stuff, but still kind of torn on the reverse polarity display. My biggest problem is the lead time and shipping because I need to use it everyday for my job/tools. I have other cars, but if saw the quantity of tools I have to carry, you’d understand why, especially since both of my other cars are small convertibles, lol. The one time I had to do it last year when my brakes failed, it seemed like even though I thought I had my essential tools, I inevitably needed something I didn’t have with me because of space.

So I have an aftermarket radio and use a maestro idatalink. That thing gives me a ton of control over setup of audio controls. Are the right side controls independent? Meaning they could be changed? Or are they just plugged into the same pins as the left, meaning they duplicate and can only duplicate that function?

I like the reverse polarity kit. To be clear, installing it simply flips the current colors, correct? In other words, the white LEDs mentioned above are for the fan, temp control, & airflow source buttons (or knobs, or whatever they are), yes, and the odo & info panel characters are amber on the dark background?

That’s how I read it but always better to be certain before laying out $.

Also, how complex is the reverse polarity install?

Yeah I completely understand. If you are wanting to do something quick without any lead time I suggest the reverse polarity kit. It doesn't take more than an hour to install and includes film for the odometer and HVAC display. It also includes a pre-built wire harness with two 12 volt LED's for the HVAC display along with a wire tap, razor and full online instruction manual and video. I also have a 5 dollar add on that includes 6 LED's for the HVAC buttons that just pop in the factory locations.

You honestly might be able to set them up for other functions. The right side buttons have their own separate pins in the harness so as long as the clock spring connections go somewhere it would be possible. For me I was not able to find other functions which may just be due to my steering wheel controls adapter (made mine duplicates)
