SoCal 4th gen newbie

Hi, I’m new to 4runners/SUVs I’m coming from mostly messing around with BMWs.
I was able to pick up my 4runner about 1 month ago from a forum member.
It’s a 2006 Limited 4x4 V8 with about 88k mi currently and looking forward to learning and taking this on some local trails/camping with family.

Here’s what she looked like when I picked her up:

First thing I did was get the oil changed along with diff/transfer case fluids:

Front CV boots were leaking so had them fixed:

Then needed rear brakes:

4runner had wheel spacers which I’ve never liked so had to swap out wheels.

I went with 265 70 17 this round

This right rear control arm was bent

Had them pop a new one in

Got to take it out to the snow

Got this cool fob case

Then evened out my window tint

Got these LED bulbs recommended by a forum member

Lastly for now was some weathertech window visors

I got the work done at the dealership, I purchased the oem boot kits and had them replaced/repacked with grease. Rather keep my original Toyota axles from going bad than replacing with aftermarket stuff.

So I got to go out to Anza Borrego last weekend with the kids and they had a blast at the mud caves.

I’m going again this weekend to check out Fonts point and whatever else is out there.

I ordered Bilstein 6112/5160/Icon rear springs.
They literally came in the next day!

The bad things is after doing some searching on this forum I found a new spring options is available 650lbs part# 47-284142. I have a V8 so I really think I should go with this option, but now I have to pay 15% restocking fee and shipping.
