Don't post on here very often anymore, but I have made a few changes since last time. No longer having any issues with my Sherpa rack. It used to shake at speeds 70+. Also was kinda noisy. But after removing it entirely and rebuilding it, all issues are solved. I moved the front air dam as far down as possible so it touches the roof-line now. Also shifted the entire rack back as far as possible too. Great improvement. Super quiet now, and no movement whatsoever.

Also I recently got some exhaust work done....my DT ypipe had to be replaced by warranty because the old one was rattling like crazy. After installing the new one I still wasn't very happy with the sound I was getting, and the muffler shop who did my old flowmaster did a bad job with the welds and didn't use enough supports, so the tail pipe section would rattle against my frame.

Took it to a new shop with the new ypipe installed and came up with the crazy idea to chop the y merge and run true duals out the back. Went with a Magnaflow dual in dual out muffler and some 3x18 stainless tips. It sounds like a real badass truck now and is soooo much smoother. Its quite a bit louder than expected but I'm happy for the time being, and the guy who did the exhaust did a good job and everything is very well built and shouldn't have any rattles from here on out.

Gonna take some exhaust vids soon enough...

@That_Titanium_4RNR I'm looking to do a very similar set up as you with the 285/75/17's. I'm going to go Icon stage 2 , Icon Delta joint UCAs with a BMC and obviously and a lot of cutting on the fender wells lol. 0 offset fifteen52's and have spidertrax if need be. What size bump stop extensions are you running ? I see that there are a few different ones that metal tech offer. Also before your body mount relocation were you still running into big issues with the mount at full stuff?

Love your ride! Wheels look great. How do you like the sherpa rack?

I'm currently not running any bumpstop extensions, but I really need to add some in the front especially. Thinking durobumps are what Ill use.

And yes, before the BMR there was scrubbing in the rear. But I helped fix alot of that by using my LCAs in conjunction with my SPC UCAs to gain maximum wheel clearance in the rear of the wheel well area.

Thanks! I love the wheels too, helps that they were only 200$ for all four lol.

I like the sherpa alot! Only issue I have had with it is that when I put it on the first time, it started shaking any time I went above 75mph. After reaching out to Sherpa they told me they had heard of a handful of people with the same issue and they were all fixed by completely removing and then reinstalling the rack.
So I followed their direction, and did just that. After the rack was installed I also made some minor adjustments. Moved the rack as far rearward as it could go. and dropped the front air fascia down to the point where it was actually touching the roof.
No problems at all since then!! Its quieter now too. I'm very happy

For those interested in my exhaust please check out my instagram which is the same @ as up here. I have some new videos posted where you can hear it, and once I get the truck cleaned off from this past weekend at Uwharrie I will be taking some videos explaining what I have done to it in detail.

Wow, been awhile since I've been up here...haven't done much to the 4Runner recently, but I did manage to find a guy with a Shrockworks front bumper who wanted to trade. It was in perfect condition.

I traded him all my stock stuff and her gave me the bumper. Trade of the year IMO. I added a Harbor Freight 12000lb Badlands Apex Winch while I had everything disassembled. This combo is extremely heavy and I didnt ever want to have to take it off to add a winch so I figured it was now or never. The winch doesn't fit with the control box on top so I am in the process of relocating it. Additionally I had to move around the AC line, and trim the tab that holds it completely off. Also the control box is so huge that I ended up taking it apart as well to fab up a smaller enclosure. Planning on using a small waterproof plastic box to hold all the components. Need to order this and make cables and then it should be good to go.

I also jerryrigged some Squadron Pros into the fog light holes during install. Got creative with some bolts, nuts, and fender washers. Works fine and looks good enough.

A few weeks after I had the bumper installed I was heading to go duck hunting at around 4am. It was extremely foggy and I couldn't see more than 30yds ahead. Came around the corner going 35-40mph and saw 2 deer in the road. Stayed straight and didn't freak out. Hit the deer dead on and drove straight over it without hitting the brakes. Felt like a speed bump. Turned back around and pulled it out of the road. It was in 2 pieces.

Only damage to the bumper was the winch hook had popped the powdercoat just a super small amount from the impact. I was blown away. Highly recommend this bumper to anyone thinking about it. Looks killer, and performs......well.....killer....

I also added new hood struts and tailgate struts. Man were they shot.

Also in the process of acquiring parts for a full audio upgrade as well as 3 stage soundproofing. (butyl, ccf, mlv).

So far I have 2 sets of Polk DB 6502s for the doors. I'm planning on a 4channel 400rms amp to power them, and a 10" or 12" sub somewhere around 400-600rms on a mono.

Also getting close to finishing up a drawer build. Need to finish cutting and assembling the passenger side drawer, add slides, polyurethane, carpet, add turnbuckles, etc.

Some pics during the install. Yes I know my LCA cams are incorrect.....waiting to fiddle with those once I replace with taco tabs, and get new springs to help with this additional weight.

Managed to secure a real deal wall mounted spring compressor on Craigslist for a steal!! Gonna make redoing my suspension this year much much easier! Not to mention all my friends with similar needs.

Post install....What a feeling of relief. This bumper was a BRUTE. Had to use an engine hoist to lift it on.

Sorry for the late reply. To be frank, it sucks. I have heavy dobinsons on now and that definitely helped with the bumper but its still not comfortable. My buddy who has full IMS suspension is much more comfortable than mine.
