So, for me, I knew I needed to redo the front diff oil. That's why I chose to pull them all the way out. Since we both have V8s we don't have to worry about the needle bearing that the v6 front diff has. If I had a v6 I would have left those inner pieces in.
All that being said, I wouldn't recommend the reboot. If you can return parts I would do that. Its too much work/time for me personally. I would rather just buy the CVJ axles and swap them in rather than have wasted all that time screwing around rebooting them.
My boot kit was like $55 per side....now I feel like I should have just put that money towards the CVJs
