Hey man, like to check your thread!

Any tips on removing the badges? As far as I googled I should warm them up and pry them after?

Do not pry!! Also heat is not necessary, especially now that it is summer. I would recommend parking outside in the sun for a few hours so everything is nice and warm. Then you will want to use fishing line between the badges and the paint in sort of a up and down sawing motion. The adhesive left behind will need to be removed. I used a 3M Eraser wheel to do this. They attach to a drill and work incredibly well. They are also quite expensive, but I have debadged my 4Runner, and remove pinstripes from a buddies FJ and I cant tell its even been used, so it should last forever. After you are done with that you will want to wipe it down with a cleaner of some sort or spray wax.

A little update...got the tint done finally. Very happy with the outcome. 5% on the front 2 windows. 15% on all the others and 50% on the windshield with a 5 % strip

Next update, went on vacation last week and had the chance to meet up with the Carolina 4Runners Offroad Group at Fort Fisher on the 13th which was the last day of vacation. Solid group out there 60+ 4Runners and they were all decked out. The thunderstorm in this picture pushed us off the beach but we had a good time.

Wow that tint is dark!! Rig is looking good though! I saw some pics on Instagram from that meet up and it looked like a really good turn out despite some dark skies!

Cool picture of my rig next to the guy I bought my front suspension from. He made his own front bumper and rear tire carrier and it looks rad.

Yeah it looks deceivingly dark in that pic haha. Not as dark in person. Thanks a lot though man! Really happy with how it turned out. I wanted the front windows to match the others and the shop did a great job doing just that.

Yeah there were some really cool rigs out there, I was honestly one of the more stock ones there hahaha :sobbing:

Love the build! Thanks for chronicling it so well... really helpful for us, even if that goes unsaid most of the time.

I think the lift is perfect just how it is. I'd keep the rear where it's at.

Just saw this. Thanks a lot man! I like to think of it as a "journal" for the 4Runner LOL....and yeah I think i'm pretty happy with the rear now. I'll be adding a rack and rtt soon and eventually a rear bumper/tire carrier after that so I may end up actually getting stiffer springs in the end, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there

Got an appointment tomorrow with Discount Tire to buy and mount my 285/75R17 Yokohama Geolandar MT G003s! I haven't laid eyes on them yet but man am I stoked!! I plan to spend the majority of the day Saturday trimming my bumper and possibly doing a BMC along with adjusting some of the settings on my SPCs.

I plan on getting it aligned on Monday, but if my cam alignment bolts are frozen (very probable) then I do have a lead on some OEM LCAs for $400 that I will then have to buy and install....fingers crossed that I can get an alignment without any of this hassle but I won't know till I bring it to the shop.

What Duplicolor code did you use? I have the same color and I'm trying to find the correct one.

Should be BTY1615 from what I'm seeing online. I dont have the can anymore so I'm not sure. I will say that you need to LOAD that stuff up with clear coat though. I didn't do nearly enough and it could probably use a buff too but oh well...
