Had an absolutely incredible weekend! Me and my buddy Ben (mule_offroad on instagram)went to Ocracoke and had a great time testing out his new suspension and camping . Pics to follow!

Also PS: if you're considering going to Ocracoke anytime soon, please do. They were hit really bad by Hurricane Dorian and are doing their best to rebuild. They need money coming in from tourists though. Unfortunately they didn't get ANY help from FEMA, which after seeing the damage with my own eyes was unbelievable that they didn't get any help. They definitely could have used it...

Question regarding bumpstops...does anyone on here have any recommendations? Im thinking about running some front and rear. Mainly to help with offroad stuff, as I dont tow at all.

Do I need extended ones?

No experience personally, but when I get around to it I'll get durobumps. Pricey but I've heard they're loads better than wheelers superbumps.

I'm running duro's on mine. Love them.

Customer service is absolutely top notch, I reached out to him cause the rears have gotten a little chewed up on the outer edges (they still work great).
After back and forth emailing we figured it's due to my spacing the stops down (Dobinsons has more travel than my previous setup, so trying to keep it out of the rear quarter) He was gonna send me a new set, even try a different compound, but I declined... It's kinda my fault, they work fine still and I'm not gonna make any suspension changes in the near future. Great guy!

Great to hear! I think I'll wait for a coupon code or sale and then jump on the train! My truck bottomed out....HARD... during this last beach trip. Trying not to feel that again haha. Plus Uwharrie opens in just a few short weeks and I want to be smoother than last year. Did you have to space the front? My 34s love to chew up plastic I have yet to cut

yeah, the season is upon us!! I have to make my way down to Uwharrie at some point.

I only spaced the rears, storage system and swingout forced me to upgrade. I'm still running what's leftover of the Toytec ultimate lift up front (5100 adjustable coilovers) for now...

Highly recommend it!! I have lived in NC my whole life and owned Jeeps since I was 14 and only just got there for the first time last year! I've been missing out for sure.

Durobumps for sure man...mine have been great!

I had a quick question for you too re: tire clearance. I just did my lift (very similar to yours) so I wanted to know how much clearance to the body mount you had with your 285/75s?

I just got aligned (after I replaced my LCAs/cam bolt hardware, lol) on my 265/70s and am considering 295/70s which end up about .6" shorter (but .7" wider) than what you're running.

My caster is + ~4 on both sides so I was hoping I could get away with this size for a bit until I eventually BMC/BMRL (the kit you used looks real nice).

I can't really give you an answer on how close it was, but it hit everything back there when the suspension traveled up haha...what I can tell you is that you want to make sure you're using the LCA cams to gain caster (front cams all the way facing each other, rear cams turned out away from each other) and then use the SPC sliding ball joint at a D position to correct for camber, then set toe and you're done. This is imperative for max clearance back there. It forces the tire forward in the wheel well.

Gotcha - my alignment is pretty good. I guess I'll just bite the bullet and find out for myself!
