Check this link out, this is the guy who built and installed mine. He has since thickened the material but mine is still super beefy even if it's not as thick as the current version.

@nickkoupiaris on Instagram: “Been asked countless times for these cab mount relocation brackets, taken 2 months to schedule a vehicle in to ensure fit before releasing…”

Have you heard of a BMC before? AKA Body Mount Chop. It is pretty much just the process of cutting back slightly (or not so slightly) the metal for the body mount directly behind the wheels.

When putting on bigger tires they will generally rub this area and the ways to fix it include, chop it, chop it and cap off with new metal, relocate it altogether (what I opted for), or in addition to any of those, aftermarket UCAs such as SPC that allow you to shift the tire forward in the wheel arch away from the mudflap/body mount area. See this video to show how you can also use the LCA in conjunction to push the wheel away.

https://youtu.be/f2YhnldfI50

Click on this one below to see what it is, and some photos show wheels rubbing against it and where people make their cuts at.

Little update. In the process of installing the RTMR finally. Also just got my titanium studs. Gonna order some 90 degree mini cats from ebay and then shes going to the shop for a week. Told them just soak it down with PB for the first few days. Can't freaking wait to hear no tick when I pick it up.

Small Update...

Been very busy and haven't taken any trips recently. Also I hate taking photos in my driveway so thats why I haven't updated much.

But I have added Baja Designs Squadron Pros in my stock fog location, and Sports on the ditch light brackets. Got an uber cheap 40ish inch dual color lightbar from amazon.

Installed my RTMR setup from @Whytey last night, just finishing up some final wiring and then I'll be set.

Truck was backed into my some dumb teenager and we settled outside of insurance. So that money is going to my header and ypipe install along with getting the truck to a detailer in my area who is going to buff and polish as best he can along with steaming and shampooing the carpet too.

Headed to Ocracoke this weekend for a shakedown run on my buddy's truck that I lifted with his help. He went with a full dobinsons lift and it kicks ass so far. Very excited to see it perform this weekend.

I also helped @TheHennDoggg pull the elocked 8.2 from a 2012 FJ in our area. Lowkey jealous I didn't get it first but oh well haha . Should be a fun project nonetheless and it will be interesting to see how it all goes together!
