Raybestos "Advanced Technology" or Wagner Rotors

I'm due for new rotors and pads on my 06 4runner, but I'm not sure whether to go for the Wagner or the Raybestos rotors. RockAuto has the Wagners for $43.99 and the Raybestos for $46.79, so they're close enough that price isn't an issue.

I know people recommend the Stillens, but I just can't do $170 each for the rotors. So what would be the best recommendation from those who've used them?

Also, what about the Raybestos "Advanced Technology" pads compared to the Wagner ThermoQuiets?

I've got to order something in the next 2-3 days and put them on this weekend, so please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks!!

Steel is steel for the most part. You won't notice any difference unless you go with drilled or slotted rotors.

As for pads, I stick with dealer pads. I can't deal with the dust and squeal of aftermarket pads. The price difference isn't that great when you buy them online.

I've been using Wagner pads for over 30 years...They make and excellent product. Never ever had a problem.

I hear Raybestos makes good products...although I have no personal experience with them.

I wouldn't be too worried on the rotors, as long as they are from a reputable company and not chinese its all the same unless you start going into performance parts.

Never had experience with wagner, but I have heard both companies are great. Flip a coin?

NAPA Autoparts has a really good line of rotors. Slightly more expensive that Autozone or OReilly but they are very high quality.

I put the Ultra Premiums on the front and the Premuims on the rear.

Flawless.

Napa Rotors

I used the NAPA ultra premium rotors also. They are just Raybestos Premium, if I recall correctly, rebranded as NAPA, but they are at a significant discount at my local NAPA dealers. They appear better than the standard ones. Time will tell if they are worth the cost. BTW I think all the cheaper rotors are made off-shore.
