Is anyone running 285/70r17 tires on stock SR5 wheels? At 7.5" wide, they meet the minimum required width for 285s.
Asking because I haven't been able to find a single build running this setup.

I've got 285/70/17 K02's on mine. I'm running wheels off a 2015 Trail Edition runner which are 17X7.5" so same measurements. They fit fine on mine for the most part. 3" lift no spacers. Rubs at full lock in reverse, and the rear will rub some if I stuff it. Planning on a 1" body lift in the next year or so.
I'm running 285/70/17 Wilpeaks on my stock wheels. Running a 3" lift and spidertrax in front. Minimal rubbing, some on compression and certain angles on inner plastic near body mount but nothing major.

Typically with a lift and wider tire, one would prefer a wider stance.
Wider/taller tires, on factory wheels, have been known to contact upper control arms.
Moving the wheel out is done via wheel spacers, or with a wheel with more negative offset.
