EDIT: Wait a minute, does this replace my stock rack or live on top of it?
Glad to hear that! It does replace your stock roof rails and bolts in the stock locations.

My Skid arrived today and I am in the middle of installing it on my 2006 V8. Quick question for anyone who has installed one so far. The box contained the skid as well as a bag of hardware containg 2 sets of bolts and 6 nuts. I assume the long bolts go in the front through the bar that the stock one attaches two with a nut on top. It screws up great, however I am left with two extra nuts of that size. In the back there are the larger nuts and bolts through a hole in the frame however the nuts are too small to sit in the hole. I am able to kind of rest them on the edge of the hole in the frame so they catch on one side. It looks sketch but when everything is tightened town it feels secure. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

You should have two square powder coated plates/washers that will go in the crossmember. The nuts will go on top of those plates. If that's not the case, give us a call 269-459-8447 and we can get them to you ASAP.

I am not very familiar with ubolt sliders, but based on a photo I found, they shouldn't interfere. Our skid bolts to the crossmembers which sit lower than the frame rail.

maybe a couple hours at most, pretty easy but as you can see, I already had trimmed the lower part of my bumpers for added clearence so I had a few less bolts to take off lol, but yea its fairly easy, straight forward.

No, because I knew I was getting this so I had a new lift installed with 700# springs. If it did I haven't noticed and we forgot to measure before and after, sorry
