Question 2006 led tail lights on as 03
Before I bought my 4runner a couple weeks back I had been researching and purchasing upgrades so that I could get started making improvements.

One of the upgrades was putting 2006 led tail lights on the 03. I may have just completely misread something but I thought it was just a simple bolt in upgrade. However when I tried today, the interface plug was different. What did I miss here?

Fyi pull the bulb out of the 03 tail light and plug in the 06 portion you see in my picture

No, this is a great post! I ran into the same issue a couple weeks ago when I put mine in and it took me a good 10 (angry) minutes to figure that out! Glad you got it sorted! They look a lot better, eh?

they look great. i went ahead and swapped to the morimoto led projectors for the reverse bulbs. and license plate lights as well.
very happy with how the back is coming along
