I need your help owners

I'm replacing my CV's and steering rack and when I was putting it back it was stuck with an extra hose dangling.

It was connected to a capped end. This was next to the battery its left side.

Can someone trace the line from the capped point next to the battery and explain it or take picture of its end point.

Thanks in advance

It’s most likely the breather tube for the front diff. It has a small metal “cap”, that is actually a breather. It is attached with a metal bracket that is very close to the battery area.

Thank, based on my pictures, the line has the cap at the bottom of the pic and on the other photos that connects to the lip in the center of the photo. Where did the other end go to?

Thanks, I'll attempt to locate it in the morning. I've so spent a solid hour staring at the drivers side near the CV boot wondering where the hook up point was. I've resorted to the forum as it's been a 2 weeks since I started the project and forgot where it was.

Agreed, looks like front diff breather. The first post in the link below shows it in position...

To clarify, I know where the hose starts (top next to battery) I don't know where the end of the hose is connected to. Can someone provide pictures or information on what I'm looking for.

Sorry boss, I just looked and without jacking it up and maybe pulling a wheel or skid plate I can't see where it goes into the diff.
In other vehicles I have it's always on the top of one of the tubes, of course they are solid axle.
I'll try looking again after work when I have more time.

Took a break and had another look from another angle.
Mine goes down from the battery and turns above the CV and goes to the top of the pumpkin. I don't know how to put up pics yet. Hopefully that helps get you in the right area.

Thanks, this is the guidance I needed. I've Googled, binged, YouTube and still my searches are without progress. You have narrowed my search in the area drastically.

Yep, while limping to the alignment shop I heard my tyres chirping and felt the front end bouncing. Once I arrived the shop was quick to work. It took two alignments, first was 6 degrees off and their machine only registers up to 3 degrees. They had to eyeball it and try again. 30 min later, it was done and WOW! My truck turns like my Avalon and its great. Next I will have to reinstall the shrockworks and I'm ready for the season.
