Is it fair to say you're not comfortable sharing what you paid? You've alluded to it being expensive without naming numbers and that's fine, my point isn't to "extract" the actual cost but more just curiosity about why the pricing around this kit is a mystery.

No problem. I don’t know what Rotora plans are to announce pricing or where they are in that process. Nor do I know what the forum rules are regarding vendors. This is a product review. I don’t work for Rotora and this not an advertisement if that makes sense.

Takes a bit of searching:

RBK082.01 - Rotora Complete Brake System - Battle Born Offroad - Your Top Offroad & 4x4 Part Source

This is a smaller system than OP's it'll fit stock components.

Damn...kit better stop a battle tank going downhill on ice for that kind of cash. No disrespect, awesome upgrade for anyone who has the resources, but wow.

You obviously presumed, incorrectly, that I had gone over this thread in detail. At the time of reading/skimming I was on a brief break of a full day of training at work. Since I had limited time, have an interest in better braking given the additional weight added to my rig, and not fully aware of the details, I asked the question given that it is a fact that the 4th gen sport edition does have a beefier brake system than the SR5 (I believe it was an option for the limited). What I expected to hear was either yes they are larger/beefier or no they’re equivalent to what is on a sport. If it was the former, then I intended to investigate further when I had more time. Regardless, your bellicose response answered my question.

Spends all this time typing out a response with clever vocabulary, yet can't find the time to click a simple link....hmmm ok buddy....

Apparently there’s a lot of options. Come to find out that Rotora has multiple rotor sizes to accommodate 16, 17, 18, and 20” wheels. Also, the center hats can be made from steel for the hardcore off-road guys. Or they can be made from aluminum to shave some weight.

Just reached out to Rotora

I am getting a rotora brake system put on my 2020 TRD. I already got these VOLK TE37 Wheels. I think I got the only available in stock set in the country. Feel very lucky. Took a lot of digging. I got the rotora brake inspiration from FB group I am in.

I am putting a 3 in ELKA lift on and 285/65/18 nitto ridge tires... With the added weight I want a better brake setup and Red Rotora is about as sexy as it gets!

I will not get the pricing until Monday but I expect 2500 to 3500.

You are putting some big time items on your 4Runner, would like to see it when you have the Rotora and Elka installs complete, I live in North Aurora, not too far away.

As would I. I’m in Downers Grove but a meet up somewhere would be sweet!

Looking sharp!
