Sport edition side step screws part number/screw size

I am trying to find what size screw or part number would be used to replace the screws in the side steps. Mine are rusting out and figured it would be a cheap fix.

Thanks

As far as I know the screws and pads are part of the step tube assembly. Around here they are no longer in stock.

If you can remove the step plates, IE Not rusted stuck, I'd take the screws to your local GOOD hardware store that carries metric bolts and find the matching screw. Bonus points if you can find then in stainless steel.

If you have plans to come out to Colorado I could make you a deal on the 2 used but still in good shape steps. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/w...inking0051.gif

Thank you,

Ill take the screws in and post the size for other who may be looking. Wasn't sure if they were part of the step and didn't want it breaking and being in more of a mess.

No plans to be in colorado any time soon but appreciate it.

I have to say, with my other vehicle being a Jeep. This community seems a whole lot, whats the word "nicer".

Let me know if you run into trouble and I can dig mine up from the shed and pull a screw and try to find the size out here.

This. I took mine all apart when I first got the runner. I ended up taking the screws to ACE hardware and just had them match it up with stainless steel.
