Bear with me... another tire size guidance thread

Hey everyone,

Today I ordered a Dobinson's kit which will get installed on my 2006 Limited V8 4WD later this week. I'm hoping to get a bit of guidance on how several tire sizes I am considering will fit with this lift kit.

Here is the setup:
Front
302 springs - 2" lift
221 struts
5mm driver's side lean corrector

Rear
505 springs - 1.5" lift
705 shocks
10mm driver's side lean corrector

These are the tire sizes I am considering and my current understanding of how they will fit. This is where I would like your feedback. I would love to get the 275's if you tell me they will fit! but I'm afraid they will be too big... Let me know what you think:

265/65r18 - Should fit with zero issues
265/70r18 - Should fit but might have to trim plastic / move fender lining
275/65r18 - Will not fit without major trimming / spacers / BMC / etc...

4th Gen Suspension Options/FAQ

this thread was very useful when I was looking for a new set of tires

PS I think this might be literally the most popular question along side "what lift should I get", so you will find an answer in the top thread

You didn't mention the type of use, wheel specs, and the actual diameter of the tire you plan to use.

I will assume OEM wheel/tire type, light trail duty, with the 18"s.

I believe your 3 choices are reasonable without major trimming/BMC.

I do light trails, and crawl over 'parking curbs' at the mall, any more than that and I would 'consider' a BMC on my T4R.

Enjoy!

Now I’m wondering if 255/70R18 might be a look I’d like...? Sigh

I added a Ready Lift 3/2 spacer lift and mounted 285/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the factory 7” SR5 wheel and have no rubbing and 1/2” clearance on UCA. Did the push on the front fender liners. As full disclosure, this is wife’s car so it will likely never leave pavement.
