06-09 sport edition tube style roof rack bolt part number? - Toyota 4Runner Forum

Hey guys, just as the title states, I’m looking for the part number for the 06-09 tube style sport edition roof rack bolt part number. I stripped 2 of the bolts and need a replacement. The limited and SR5 bolts are different and the local dealership as usual is no help. Going online this is the park number 63230-42010 but I believe it’s for the limited and SR5 rails. Any help would be appreciated.

It's very difficult to find part numbers for the Sport Edition roof rack and side steps. I suspect these may have been port add-ons and not come from the factory? They don't appear in any parts diagrams or listings. Other SE items do, such as the hood and seats etc.

Your nearest hardware store and stainless steel match is probably a good work around.

You said bolt and there are several. I attatched the diagram but you can use the link to go to the web page to make sure. The diagrams are selectable, this diagram is 612186-C. The vehicle entered into the parts menu was 2007 v6 4.0 4wd Sport Edition.

How are the limited and SR5 different, just asking ?

Some of the part numbers on the diagram need to be cross referenced using the list below the diagram (not shown). The rack in the diagram is listed as Bar. The main bolt that holds the foot down is 63230 42010 BOLT ASSEMBLY, REMOVABLE ROOF.

thanks ill look into it, its the main bolt. the limited and SR5 main bolt uses a 12mm to remove it, while the sport edition uses i believe a T-30. I'm assuming because of the design of the rail cover.
