Spark Plug cyl.3, this ok?

Hey guys,

Just pulled out the original plugs from the 4.0 at a 100k. What are your thoughts on the 5th plug on the right? Seems darker, leaner than the rest? This is the drivers side, furthest cylinder in (closest to driver).

Is this concerning?

If you posted a photo, I can't see it.

Small differences in color are OK within reason.

Just a heads up if you are having issues posting images use a jpg converter online. For whatever reason this forum does not play nice with other image formats or even jpeg so just make sure its jpg and it will post

Looks good to me.

It's going to run much better with new plugs.

All of the plugs look normal to me, the top 2 plugs could be running a tiny bit rich and could be causing the darker color, but still not very bad and in the normal range.

For anyone interested here are 2 links to spark plug wear/color charts w/photos and text describing each image.

No issue with the spark plug color that I see.

ps The photo size limit on this site is far smaller than other auto brand forums. Very inconvenient.

Thank you folks! Really appreciate the feedback, feel much better now. I was afraid that the 5th plug was leaner than the rest and thought maybe i had an injector on it’s way out.
