replacing cluster lens

2 questions:

I did a search and saw that some have replaced the cluster lens. Mine is scratched to hell and I am looking at replacing it and had 2 questions:

Concelli does not list the lens as being available for an 07. Is it available?

How difficult is it to replace? I saw some people discussing a pdf showing instructions, but cannot find an attachment.

Thanks in advance.

If they carry one for the 2006 model year that will work on your 2007. I don't know if the 2003-05 will work as the trim bezel surrounding the gauges are different.

BUMP

Anyone have any experience changing the bezel on an 06 or newer?

If there are instructions, that would be great!

Thanks

I have the same problem. I remember reading about people who got it fixed under warrenty, but I took it in and they said no. Nissan fixed it under warrenty for my friend, can anyone confirm that it has been a warrenty issue. IMO it should be, I wiped it off with a micro fiber towel and it looks like I used sandpaper. Why wouldnt they make it out of harder plastic?

I have an '04 4Runner, so I'm not sure how much different this is going to be than for your MY, but it was pretty easy for me.

I followed the directions in the attached pdf. It took me probably 20 minutes total.

I remember someone suggesting to get a new lens and take it to a window tinter and have them put a clear film over it or a light tint.

hey guys. It's really not difficult to change out the inst cluster / plastic lens. Mostly it just snaps in, and once you get it out, I believe there are three connectors, and to get it taken apart further there are some small screws (con't remember if they are phillips or torx).

Anyway, I have an instrument cluster for an '07 if interested. Looks like I might be parting out.... plastic lens anybody? LOL

Hello. The lens is in excellent condition, however, I can't seem to find it right now

The only thing I found is the trim that goes around it (which is new and I was going to use in my '03 but won't work without serious modding).

Anyway, I will post when I find it...
