Humming noise at start up

Need help with a weird humming noise happening when I put the keys in and turn to accessories or actually start my truck. It sounds like some sort of pump running.

Just a short back story....I have a small leak in my air conditioning system and as of right now the system will not turn on at all and all my switches are in the off position. I'm assuming it has something to do with that because it's coming from behind the center of the dash but I'm not sure.

Will only let me post pictures so I cant post a video of the sound. This forum has been so helpful in the past with little things like this so I'm hoping you can keep that trend going!

Thanks in advance!!

I would hedge my bet that it could also be the braking system's hydroboost pump running and priming up the accumulator.

So I'm assuming the best way to get to that would be to take the glove compartment out? Or am I going to have to tear into the dash?

Thanks for the reply btw!

What is the best way to get at what you are describing?

It's under the hood on the driver's side, and there's probably nothing wrong with it.
