Anyone had the gunshot-like clang/bang from the undercarriage after being lifted at the tire/brake/suspension/etc shop?
I asked a friend who is a master mechanic with long dealer experience and personality drives a 3rd gen heavily modded. He says it likely is either the rear drive shaft slip spine and rear coil spring seats.
Have any of you had the issue and resolved successfully? I wouldn’t be concerned much except for a nagging suspicion this could be related to a maddening “wheel balance “ issue that seems more rearward no matter where i position wheels. Also I don’t recall ever hearing/experiencing the Clang b4 having rear bearing replaced
