I rarely off road but do pull a boat at about 2800-3000lbs. The truck has 175k on everything original except the LCA/UCA/Stabilizer/sway bars up front. Would like to replace shocks springs that will give me a good ride while towing and give like 2.75 lift. Thoughts?

Last year on my 2006 Sport V8 I removed the XREAS, went with OME BP-51's with SPC UCAs and OME 885 Springs (IIRC on the spring rate) with 275 70 R17 BFG KO2's. This setup leveled me out +~2.75 up front and +~2.5 out back. Towed my 3000 lb offroad popup beautifully through CO, UT, NV, & CA then once base camp was setup gladly went down any trail I pointed her to up and down the E. Sierra.
