so i have been suspecting for some time that my shocks may be bad, so today, got a used rear sway bar, and the right rear shocks was removed during the installation, i found out that i could depress the shocks by hand using meduim force,
am wondering if its normal for the shock to be that easy to depress, or is it going back already, the shock in question is bilsteins, hence am wondering if the failed shock is contributing to breakage of the rear sway bar???...

if yes, who can recommend a beefy rear shock?, note i have 1.5inch spacer lifts at the rear, and the bar broke near the LHS, ie close to the suspected failing shock

The RS999305 is the Rancho 9000...like the front you have...9 way compression adjust.
Think you can get a pair for just under $200 on Amazon.

fwiw, is there a sure fire way of testing the shocks on the car to know whan they are shot?, the bounce test is inconclusive on my truck for the front shock.

My rear sway bar broke this weekend on the trails, thinking about removing it and getting stiffer springs. Does anyone know what would be a good spring setup to be able to remove both front and rear sway bars, or should I just upgrade/replace the broken sway bar?

setup: 5100's, 5th Gen coils, 1.5 rear spacer, 2nd gen rear links.
