FYI: spare connectors and switches

I installed lights on my arb bumper and then started looking for an OEM switch to add to the dash. I found a FJ Cruiser roof light switch and then I needed a connector.

The connectors can be found in junk yards out of a 2005 Corolla or a 2007 Solara. Other years and models may have the same connectors but the above are what I found. They use the same connectors for their traction switches.

Then I ordered terminals so I could reduce the amount of splices needed.

All said and done I got the light switch wired up and then snatched the heated seat elements out of the solara and it’s heated seat switches.

The OEM 4runner limited seat heater switches won’t work so thankfully I was able to grab the solara switches.

Cool! Always good to know what to look for in the junkyard.
