Yes, can install for you. $800-$1,100 depending how many studs break, etc.
What parts on the currently available long tubes aren't 304? Or worth the extra $50?

What about a matching premium 304 y-pipe?

Add me for the 05-09 long tube please.

Hey all! Just had mine done about 6 weeks ago. Headers shorties, ypipe, cats, exhaust. Did a whole new suspension at the same time. I can't even explain how much I love driving this truck now. Super responsive even with the AC on. Sounds incredible.

If I'm easy on the gas I saw an increase from like 15/16mpg to 18/19mpg. City driving and with my extra love of the gas I'm still around 15/16 but it was closer to 14 before. Definite gains.

Don't know how much difference the suspension work made. 3" lift between billys at 1.85" and FJ coils. Did all control arms and some other things, truck is level.

Running Faulken 275/70's and had a little rub on the JBA UCA so had to do spacers.

Rig is awesome is all I can say. Everything was pricey but I got a new truck! Highly recommend!

Guys I really want to pull the trigger on the long tubes....I am hesitant though because of legality. The county I live in (Pitt) no longer does emissions inspections, but isn't it still illegal to remove catalytic convertors if they come from the factory? If they don't do emissions inspections I should still be able to pass an inspection without any cats or at least without the front 2 right?

I would be interested in shorties with hi flow cats already welded on. Wonder why they don't make this an option. I'm sure there is some interest since this car comes like that from factory and pretty much every single v8 has or will have a cracked manifold.

Been a little crazy lately with the holiday. BUT YES!!! We need 20 people. I've been very involved in discussing this project with DT and trying to make it come to life. DT does listen to customers and listened to me as a sponsor on here about doing this test. I said I think it's good idea at least to try ONE RUN and got the green light, again, need 20. Very cool. These prices I also worked on and are very fair! I know what this stuff costs to make, and those that know also should be happy.

(flanges, air tubes, welding, tubing) stainless headers.

03-04 Shorty headers - Group Buy $719.00
05-09 Shorty headers - Group Buy $855.00

03-04 Long tube headers - Group Buy $765.00
05-09 Long tube headers - Group Buy $899.00

In just a few days already have 5 people. Let's see if we can do this!

1. Formidable (05-09 LT)
2. Az4runnin (03-04 LT +Y Pipe)
3. Inv4drZm (05-09 LT)
4. Rannd (05-09 LT) 07

EDIT, there needs to be 20 total for LONG TUBES ONLY to make this happen. Doesn't matter if there are 100 people that want short tubes, 20 is the magic number that we need for LONG TUBES only. (The collector flanges must be bought at 20 sets to get the discount we need behind the scenes) So, as long as we get 20 people for LONG TUBES, any one that wants short tubes will be able to get short tubes even if there are only say 5 people than want short tubes.

Edit #2 Yes, these will also fit the GX470, 03-04 and 05-09. Same thing, same headers work on BOTH! Spread the word!

New member here - anyone know if there's any way to pass emissions in Colorado with the LT's? Also, is the shorty version a PITA install if I want to go 2.5" and maganflow hiflow cats behind?

All that said, I'm acquiring a '06 Limited V8 in 2 weeks and I know I want this done so put me down for a set of shorties please...

Based on a quick look at the web, it seems like in Colorado you have to do more then just pass the OBD and gas cap tests for a vehicle of that year so it seems unlikely you'd be able to pass with the LT's. I just passed emissions in AZ with the LT's with the 02 sensor spacers cause we only have to do the 2 two tests I mentioned. If you have a family member or friend living in a rural area though you could register your vehicle to that address and not have to pass emissions, or atleast that's an option here. Hope this is at all helpful.

So are the long tubes just bolt on and go with no welding? Obviously studs break, but other than that they will just bolt onto my OEM y-pipe?

Considering joining this...
