Definitely understand the benefits of the Titanium vs OE route as I've already bought a set and have it on my truck.
I and my mechanic were curious if anyone else has had issues with the nuts becoming loose due to there being no locking mechanism in the nuts. I chatted with Titanium Works about what we saw, and they say that they've not had issues with it, so was just curious if others have had issues, and if so what they did to keept the nuts from loosening up.

Been a little crazy lately with the holiday. BUT YES!!! We need 20 people. I've been very involved in discussing this project with DT and trying to make it come to life. DT does listen to customers and listened to me as a sponsor on here about doing this test. I said I think it's good idea at least to try ONE RUN and got the green light, again, need 20. Very cool. These prices I also worked on and are very fair! I know what this stuff costs to make, and those that know also should be happy.
(flanges, air tubes, welding, tubing) stainless headers.
03-04 Shorty headers - Group Buy $719.00
05-09 Shorty headers - Group Buy $855.00

EDIT, there needs to be 20 total for LONG TUBES ONLY to make this happen. Doesn't matter if there are 100 people that want short tubes, 20 is the magic number that we need for LONG TUBES only. (The collector flanges must be bought at 20 sets to get the discount we need behind the scenes) So, as long as we get 20 people for LONG TUBES, any one that wants short tubes will be able to get short tubes even if there are only say 5 people than want short tubes.
Edit #2. Yes, these will also fit the GX470, 03-04 and 05-09. Same thing, same headers work on BOTH! Spread the word!
Edit #3. FINALLY, we are here. Best way to do this is to call me asap 717-319-2100 and I can run cards over the phone, and will explain more
Edit #4. I worked a deal for new TITANIUM studs and nuts! This is a smoking deal and not much more than Toyota will charge but these are TITANIUM!
Titanium Studs/nuts for 4Runner/GX470 headers, at Burtman - ORDER LINK
If there is anyone else on the fence I may be able to squeeze you in but MONDAY 10/21 no more. No new orders can be added after 10/21 monday.
Call text/717-319-2100.

I am confused... $899 For a Discount? UDR has DT long-tube headers for 03-09 4Runner V8 for $851 Free shipping. Am I missing something?

They are different part #s for 03-04 and 05-09. Not sure why the URD lists them together unless its a typo. 03-04 are less expensive is why I mention it.
That and this group buy is for the full stainless headers including flanges and air injection tubes.

Correct, the HEADERS in this thread are ONLY being offered by ME. Many wanted a PREMIUM VERSION headers, with SS flanges, etc. and thanks to Mafry and a lot of coercing with me and Doug Thorley I was able to get it done and make this special buy PREMIUM header. Many wanted piece of mind of knowing that EVERY SINGLE PIECE in their headers were FULL STAINLESS
If this group buy didn't exist, these specific headers would be around $1,200 for a premium version with normal markup
Now, I'm not sure yet, but may be able to do this again in the future, but not sure yet... I may be able to get more material to do a few more, but not sure yet.

Thanks Hope all yours was good.
UPDATE: Should be ready to ship in aprox 10 business days. Part of the hold up initially was the supplier of the flanges took almost 3 weeks to deliver.
Also, Doug Thorley will be adding new pics on their Facebook later today.

This is an upgrade I'd like to do on my '05 V8 down the road, hopefully there will be another group buy in the future. Plus, I have no idea where I'd go in my area to get them installed correctly at the moment, would have to check around.

Anyone have a proper how-to on how to combat the CEL’s when we get to installation?

The most sure-fire way I've heard is getting o2 adapters that have catalytic material in them (mini-cat). That or running o2 simulators that just tell the ECU what it wants to hear.
Some (probably most) people use spacers / spark plug non-foulers, but after all the discussions, it seems like it's not foolproof or 100% consistent from vehicle to vehicle. All those are doing is moving the o2 sensor further away from the flow of exhaust gas so that they are reading less information. Some people need more spacers than others. It's basically guess and check until it works.
To me, it seems more reliable to just have a mini-cat right before the sensor so that it's reading filtered gas flow no matter where it's located. Getting a quality manufactured one is the kicker. Someone posted an amazon link (might have been
@ Satori
) to some that worked well for them, but the reviews showed mixed results. I think it was these. Negative reviews could be a quality control issue or user errors. I believe
@ duffdog
custom machines some, but they are a bit more than I wanted to pay, despite them likely being excellent quality. Out of respect, I won't speak for him on the price in case my information is out of date.
Also, Post #255 in this thread is the Gospel. Read it.
