Do I need new ball joints or lca?

Just installed the bilsteins 5100 + fj coils. Was wondering if I needed to replace the ball joints or the lower control arms, etc anything i'm missing?

Replace them only if they are worn out. Your new suspension parts are perfectly compatible with the existing bits.

I cannot tell from pics. I just put KYB's on and when I did discovered the lower control arm is frozen. Turns out that is impacting the "caster" angle and handling of the truck. So goign to install some new Moogs LCA soon. They will have to be cut off. If yours are not worn out or rusted out, I wouldn't replace them. To find out if they are frozen, try taking the bolts loose to adjust the caster angle, lower control arm bolts that attach it to the frame. That will tell you. But if the angle is good (alignment good), then all ok. Warning...I had an alighment done and they didn't tell me there was any problem and their alignment was bad, could tell driving. Took another 2 shops to figure out what was wrong. I've learned to be more cautious with shops. caveat emptor.

You should post in the Gen5 section, this one goes to 2009. Really no way to guess about the vibration and clanking without more information. Vibration could be tires, loose front end parts, bad front axle etc. Clunking could cross over to the same issues besides tires but also could be sway bar related or loose exhaust. I would say have the tires rotated and see if the vibration changes. If you can get an audio recording of the noise that may help.
