The pic doesn't work for me but I assume you mean the rear-most tip which is actually attached to the resonator. Mine did the same thing, the resonator is pretty cheap at Rockauto. It connects to the muffler pipe with a flange right above the rear axle. You can grind off the bolts and attach a new resonator. Issues with no tip may be exhaust seeping into the rear plus heated gasses melting your plastics back there. Is it a big deal? Probably not but I didn't like smelling fumes.
just go to a muffler shop. Have um whack off the resonator and weld a L shaped piece of tubing so that the exhaust exits behind the rear wheel. This way the fumes dont come into the cabin if you drive with the rear window down and it will improve your rear enter/exit angle meaning youll have less chance of tearing it off when off roading
the pipe OD is 2-3/8", i bought a 2-1/2 OD pipe which had the perfect 2-3/8 ID, i cut 2 slits on the side to help it expand just a little bit for a very tight fit.
