Dual ARB engine mounting ideas?

I was wildly stoked to purchase a Mountain Off-Road Enterprises dual ARB compressor mount for the 4th/5th Gens for my newly acquired dual ARB.

Finally got around to test fitting, knowing that since I didn’t see the stud they mentioned, I’d have to do some drilling and custom mounting… however, I have run into another issue… the space between my AFE intake and the firewall is too small to mount the compressor horizontally like planned.

I come seeking advice on mounting a dual ARB vertically behind the air intake, between the firewall and intake box… I searched and I see people mounting singles there… but I already ventured down the single ARB and decided I need the dual for my build.

I can’t mount it on the driver-side because I have my Switch Pros and Power Tray set up there… the air intake as foolish as some people believe they are, I have no fender liners due to 35s and so I opted to put a snorkel in there, the snorkel and the AFE mounted together perfectly, I won’t return to stock.

I considered mounting it inside but haven’t seen enough ideas for that either and I would have to run longer wires to reach the switch pro from inside ve engine bay.

I don't have any useful knowledge on hand but I have the same no fender liner because 35's, afe with a snorkel, situation you have going on and I assumed I would just install the dual arb (that i don't have yet) in the interior.

I've seen it done once watching DirtLifestyles "80 series" Dumpster Fire build (episode 6) and I really like the idea. Not sure if he goes over it too much.

with 35's, where do you put your spare? I assume it's on a rear bumper swing out? Why not install the ARB in the spare well?

Can you post a pic of your setup? I was able to fit that exact mount with the 1gal tank in my '03 V6. all I had to do was cut my hood liner.

I also wanted my dual ARB mounted vertically between the air box and firewall. Unfortunately I had no luck finding an existing mount on the market for that, so my friend and I came up with this custom mount.

My apologies for the late reply, I thought I was going to get an email notification for responses and I pretty much threw the project on the back burner.

Hope the pictures attach correctly as they’re from my phone…. But it’s the AFE box that gets in the way of the compressor itself when mounted horizontally… but with how well they work together (AFE and Snorkel) I don’t want to change those.

I love @vonRunner ‘s set up, if I can’t replicate something similar, I might have to rethink the Powertrays idea and go with the dual compressor mount that puts the Switch-Pros upside down on the driver side… but I’d like to go passenger side if possible

Spare is mounted on my Nguyen Works bumper and swing out. Pic attached because it looks so nice.
