Added amp locations??

Ok, swapped sub with DVC pioneer and tiny DUAL amp. Amp smells burnt after 10 mins of hard bass, so its got to go(does hit hard for tiny amp). Have Alpine mvr-250 mono amp already just wondering if anyone has mounted an extra amp anywhere other attached to seat backs or under front seats. thanks

Cheap amp under driver seat with a cheap 8" sub in the rear footwell under a blanket so people can't see it when parked downtown. Not great, but better than just the door speakers.

I installed a 5ch Kenwood excelon amp under the driver's seat.. I modified (removed and blocked) the heat vent under the seat which gave me ample room with no adverse effects.. I know you're asking about different locations but IMO this is the best location possible..

Thanks

but I do have the JBL amp and speaker, wondering if there's room on the drivers side? Guess I'll have to take that trim off and look this weekend. Why did you choose the driver's seat?

you can mount amps under the front seats, and build 2x 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch spacers for the back part of amp so it raises the amp to clear the vents.
also for grounding, there is a factory ground bolt, just lift the carpet up and youll see it, its where the front seat rails mount, that cross section.
