Anyone used 3rd party non oem servos ?

Parts geek has servo motors that are very tempting to try, 35 bucks vs 130 for oem. So far I have used OEM parts only, but this is tempting.
So I thought I would ask, has anyone used 3rd party non-oem servos before and have an opinion about them.
Thanks

I just changed one today. For the one I needed, I was only able to find OEM on Amazon. If I had my choice, I would make the decision based on how hard the part is to change. Mine was pretty tough. Don't want to do it again anytime soon.

Thanks all, that makes good sense,

As your sitting in the passenger seat it looks like there is 2 to the left (1 upper and 1 lower) and one to the right . The nomenclature is a little confusing.

Which is which ?

1. Cold / hot blend

2. vent selection

3. recirculation

Thanks for any insight.

Sitting in the passenger seat like you say- Mine was the lower left one and it controls the TEMP. I had to operate all the heat/AC controls while watching to confirm. Amazon "Toyota 87106-35180 Damper Servo Sub Assembly" $165. I suspect it's the same internally as Rock Auto's, AutoZone's, others. The control arm and rotating shaft are totally different. It's a little tough to change. My Youtube video may help.

(Mine is 2004 SR5 SINGLE CLIMATE CONTROL - not dual control as in driver and passenger controls separate). All three of the servos are sold on Ebay for pretty good prices. There are two sellers from the UAE who've sold a ton of them with good feedback. They are OEM. I'm guessing an overstock buy from the states, as they are identical in every way to the ones I removed.
