Whats Your Air Pressure?

I always wondered what their daily driving average air pressure people ran on their rigs.

Mine, LT285/70R17 run 38psi all 4.

285-70R17 KO2's 10 ply model. I daily drive my truck and I set the pressure at 32 psi. I think tire pressure setting is a personal choice but interesting to see what people like. The equipment level on your truck will most likely affect your pressure setting.

Running my bald 285/70 Falken AT3Ws at 38 psi. They seem to wear the best this way for me. I also don't have any additional weight on the truck.

toyota says 32psi per my owners manual. not a big deal to run 2psi more though. curious why 38 in the winter, what does the extra psi do?

DD

Wieght of front ÷ 2, wieght of rear ÷2.

Tire of preferred, max wieght ÷ max psi = wieght per psi.

Front ÷ # to wieght per tire psi, do the math.
Rear. Ditto.

Off road.. Depending on the terrain. How low can you go,

Yep, with all the extras I've added, go to a CAT scale, weighs front and rear separatedly.

Yeah I think it is 32 my bad. I go by the tag on the driver door. Just preference. Increasing it accommodates the temp shift in the winter months since there isn't as much thermal expansion.
