I am about to replace the clock spring but I have heard you need to also reset the module. Did you reset or know anything about this ?

Chnaged mine a while ago, after the mechanic broke mine while working on the steering assy without locking the steering wheel.

didnt need to reset anything. simply disconnect your battery before starting the ops.

Great writeup. Used it to replace my clockspring and clear my Airbag MIL.

A clarification: the two torx screws should be completely loosened, just not removed from their plastic bracket (it keeps them in place).

Also, my rig was used T27 Torx in those locations (not T25)

Thanks for the writeup! Just did this on my MY2006 4Runner.

FYI, the Torx screws used a T-30 bit on mine.
