Kyb strut plus

I have a 2005 t4r sr5 2wd and wanted to know If the kyb strut plus lifts the front? Not looking for a lift but hearing that it gives a lift upfront. Does anyone know how much? Don't want the front to be higher then the rear. I want to replace all 4 ahocks.

Thanks

Nice t4r! It looks good but I'm thinking would it be higher up front on a 2wd? Dont want a reverse rake

Kyb strut plus

After. About 1.5 in lift. Now it sits level.

i think it will be ok with the 2wd. it takes about 500-1000 miles to get it to settle & after that its about a 1.5-2" lift at the front fender lip. it should sit close to level after.

i just did all 4 shocks on my 08 with worn out xreas, im happy with the small lift & they ride surprisingly good.

Thanks guys! Looks like I will go with the kyb strut plus and rear. I will be running the trd pro wheels with 265/70 tires that come stock on the 5th gen.

FYI- I'm not familiar enough with the kit to know for certain, but the "lift" could just be result sagging oem suspension.

I agree. My 130k suapension is worn to where it affects alignment. KYB plus is in my garage awaiting install .

based on lower mile stock 4th gens ive seen in person & looking at youtube vids when they were new or close to new, the KYB's definitely give a little bit of lift in the front. & thats likely because the kybs have 10% stiffer springs than stock. they are the same part # for FJ cruisers & a popular trick to get a little lift is to use a FJ shocks/springs.
