Hey Mike,

So as long as it fits in the cutout width wise, I don't think you should have a problem. The light bar brackets that come with the rack actually mount on the very first crossbar, but they extend to have the light bar sit right in the cutout.

You can move the brackets along the crossbar to get the right fitment for your bar.

The only thing I would say, is if the mounting point for your bar would make the bar hit the top of fairing cutout, you can probably find a way to raise the bracket to compensate for that.

I also like how it already comes finished vs. the raw aluminum some of the others come in.

Did it come with the light brackets already? That's another plus if it does... I might have to just put in for an order sooner than later...or wait til Thanksgiving.

Yup, everything came finished / powder coated and yes, brackets were also included which is awesome. I know some others charge you extra for those.

Your detailed pictures and descriptions are great, the rack looks awesome this makes me even more excited for my Victory rack which should be delivered any day. I went with Victory for pretty much all the same reasons as you. I ordered during their grand opening a few weeks ago and got 10% and free shipping which can’t be beat. I like how Victory is creating innovative parts for our 4th gens, not many companies are developing new designs.

I recently installed their blitz winch mount bumper with tube, gives the 4Runner a nice clean and fresh look. Have yet to test it out as I don’t have a winch, light bar or shackles. Fit and finish are excellent, they do an outstanding job.

Thank you, and yes I agree. That's another reason I went with a Victory. They're having a pretty impressive and good looking portfolio of 4th gen parts. I just ordered their molle panel for rear window.

Let's see that new bumper of yours!

I’m happy with the the looks and design of the half bumper while retaining some factory aesthetics.

The Molle panels Victory designs is definitely on my radar.

The design is reminescent of the fat lip 99-02 4Runner bumper. At least to me thats what it does. I'm not a big fan of the phoenix. I would rather just have like a sticker I can put off set to the side or something...

I tried to install the light bar, but as usual, it wasn't going to be straightforward. Probably because there's a million choices of light bars out there and just as many for light bar brackets.

I picked up the 38" dual color bar from Extreme LED. Heard great things about them and the price was right. I also ordered the optional wireless remote so I can have strobe effect

Using the Victory 4x4 light bar brackets, you can see the passenger side fits just fine.

But on the driver side, the power cable gets in the way of the bracket and doesn't allow a clear passage for mounting bolt to be inserted.

So I had to cut away some metal using the angle grinder.

Sanded the metal cut, painted it black, and we're good to go. I also painted all light bar hardware black to match the all black look of the rest of the roof rack.

Now, I have to figure out how to tuck this wire but more importantly, I'm gonna have to get rid of this bulky 3 pin connector that plugs into the included harness that goes under the hood. As you can see, there's no way that would tuck between glass and A-pillar. And there's no way to keep it under the hood because it doesn't reach. Design flaw if you ask me.

But since this has nothing to do with the roof rack, I'll continue the light bar discussion in my build thread. If anyone is interested to see what happens, you can visit:

I have a similar light bar mounted on my roof. I cut the cable coming out of the light bar around 4 inches out of the light then resoldered the connector on the end.
Then ran my own cables up the pillar beneath the windshield trim and soldered the female end of the connector on the end.
Might be a bit easier getting those wires hidden.
