OK that's makes more sense, you definitely need to get that cylinder flushed out properly!

I would however jump on that blinker fluid ASAP, if you don't you will never be able to turn the steering wheel!!

NO WAY! So that's why my steering feels so funny. Unless it's normal to have the rig do a crisp U-turn whenever a large retail store, jam-packed with last minute shoppers, rampaging un-attended children, and electric mobility cart-riding elderly comes into sight... Idk, I might let the blinker fluid run low like this for a while!

Got the retros buttoned up over the weekend!

But first, let's screeee our way back to showcase the last few steps before "completion"...

Step 642: 1 Minute Epoxying the halos onto the Profile Hi-Lens LED's


Step 987: Button up the backside with OEM grommets and such:

The splitters I used to connect the OEM high beam outputs to both the high beam solenoid and the Profile Hi-Lens on each side of the truck.


I'll post a diagram of the wiring at some point, but it was pretty straightforward. The only big difference than my last retro would be the quad highs and the fact that I bought D2H bulbs to match the ballast wiring...

Next up, tape the lenses on the housings and mount them up to verify fitment, even cutoff, and that I did my wiring right!

Step 89245897928457: Clean the inside and outside of the lenses, blow out any dust from the housings that might have settled over the 6+ consecutive weekends it took you to wrap this project up, etc, etc, etc...

Once you get there, start bolting the suckers back together - but first, lay a nice strip of awesome Morimoto RetroRubber around the groove in the bucket:


And then heat 'er up and glue 'er back together!

For referencing purposes, here are a few details I skipped over:

Routed the wires under the radiator shroud for the relay harness, which includes the passenger ballast, igniter, and halo.
