Steps 4-9. (the longest part)
Connect and verify all of the wiring connections between the Crux harness, stereo, backup cam, and mic. I use closed end crimp terminals after twisting the wires together.
10. Transfer the brackets and the plastic side plates from the Metra kit to the new stereo
11. (not pictured, did this previously) run the backup camera wiring along the driver side floorboard wire channel, three wires - RCA for video, ACC power so the camera is always on, and reverse signal to the yellow/red wire for automatic switching in R.
12. Connect and verify before making this tidy
13. Tidy up with tape so it isn't so messy behind the dash, then carefully push it into place!
14. Voila. Test for functionality, check all speakers, mic, USB, SWC, and aux functionality before buttoning all the trim up in reverse order!
15. Lastly, measure out the reverse cam distances for referencing. For me, the bottom of the screen was 2ft from the hitch and the middle yellow line across the screen was 4ft. Schweet.

So I keep going back and forth between posting pictures from Tapatalk on my phone and uploading them as attachments on the computer and tbh, i'm disappointed in both methods as of late! Tapatalk started to severely reduce image size and upload one at a time, whereas the forums here make me reduce the size to something ridiculous in able to post, then the pictures are almost too large on the screen to look at normally.
Oh, and Photobucket is
Anyone want to tell me any tips for posting full, or at least half res pics so my future images aren't a chore to look at???

Took a couple pics with the ol' FLIR attachment after a 3 hour highway drive. 40 degrees out, and max temps were in the 110-120s on the tailpipe. I mainly did this to check my CV joints, as I still have a bit of noise from the front passenger side and I'm skeptical of the non-OEM CV that was installed by the PO a year or so ago. It was reading about 30 degrees higher than the OEM, so it might be at least due for a regreasing or something... Or I just swap in a rebuilt OEM...

I think you get 1000 images with the free version, and I've gone over that so I'm a pro now.

Went and tossed a bunch of bird pictures on a new thread so this one can be more focused on the Runner! Go check it out and post your pics.

Wow, I never knew those lugs existed. I’ve seen extended lugs before, but never with a conical seat. Do you have the part number and where you ordered them by chance? I have very few threads on my front wheels in particular with my Fuel wheels, and was planning to press in new studs, but that seems way easier and will do the rear as well, which is “ok” for thread engagement, but more is definitely better! Great build thread btw!

Right on! Part #21134ETBC from Wheelers Offroad or Amazon is the 24pk gloss black version w/ the spline drive socket. You can also get a similar set from DP that are matte.
This is where I got 'em.

Thanks for the shout out!

Booted up my Mstudt rear links today to give them a head start on winter's wrath. Had to take two needlenose pliers and lube to pull them over the heims... Not as quick as I thought!
Also recieved word that my rack and skids should be shipping out next week.
