Vibrations when starting vehicle?

Hello everyone, today when I started up my 4Runner it was vibrating pretty bad and it slowly went back to normal. Everything seemed fine but it did it once more at a stoplight. Pretty hefty vibrations. I had refilled it completely with gas on Saturday and drove 2.5 hours to Chicago that night from Iowa. Didn't drive it yesterday and today when I went to start it up it was vibrating pretty bad. Other than that everything seemed normal. Any ideas? Could it be the mixing of BP, Shell, and Costco gas that I do?

Fuel fire and air make the car run. That to me sounds like a fouled plug or failing coilpack. Once the gunk burns off then it runs. That then could mean headgasket. Dunno. Good luck

sorry im no help on whats causing the vibration you described... but, it is definitely not from mixing gas.

no cel?. there should be a MIL with such vibrations as you describe, scan the car, and post the codes, likely a misfire code, water from failing hg, or fuel from leaking injectors

I'm with earthrealm, check your coolant level and oil level. Then hook up an obd scanner to check for fault codes that might not be on the dash. It could help you pick out which cylinder is misfiring.
