2004 4Runner Limited JBL amp and speaker replacement

I have an 04 Limited with the JBL (non-RDS) stereo system. I replaced the factory stereo with an Alpine Carplay receiver and the subwoofer with a Fosgate Sub and Amp.

Now I want to replace the JBL amp and speakers. Does anyone know how to wire the new amp and use the existing speaker wires. I'm planning on buying a 4 channel amp and only replacing the front door speakers, tweets and rear door speakers.

Thanks,

i think you need to make a t harness.

where are you planning to install the new amp? i prefer to run new wire to each doors, 16 gauge is plenty.

hide the amp under the seats.

I cut the speaker wires coming out of the JBL amp, pulled them back under the rear passenger door trim and plugged them right into my new amplifier, mounted under the passenger seat.
I have a wiring diagram somewhere that showed me what color wire was for each speaker location. I’ll try to get a camera under the seat to get a photo of the wires going into the amp for you.

Thanks. I'm planning on installing the new amp under the passenger seat and move the sub amp by the sub. Where the JBL amp is currently located.

Sorry for the delay, but I was camping for a few days.
Also sorry for the hassle, but I can’t find the wiring diagram now. It’s available somewhere on the forum.
If nothing else, here’s a crappy photo of the installed amp, along with the wiring diagram for the amp itself. Hopefully you can decipher these 2 to work for your application:

I just left the speaker leads disconnected at the headunit when I made my harness for the new unit, disabling the whole JBL system and I mounted a 4CH under the RH seat and ran new 14 AWG to all 4 doors. The 4th gen is pretty easy to route wires through the door boots.
