Like the title say, there’s a rotational grinding- like metal on metal grinding. I can only hear it at low speeds with the windows down but that doesn’t mean it’s gone at higher speeds, I’ve greased everything with a zerk and just all 4 brake pads replaced with rotors resurfaced by the dealership
It also goes away after driving in the rain while the car is still wet but once the car dries out and warms back up it’s back again.
Any ideas?

Check all brake dust shields and see if they’re touching the rotor ever so slightly? In rain the water will act like lubricant and the noise goes away.

I had a grinding noise on mine that turned out to be in the passenger rear e-brake assembly. One of the pins that has a spring around it had rusted enough to where the pressure of the spring had bent out the pin nearly straight causing it to contact the back on the flange on the axle. You way want to put your truck in gear up on jack stands and give it a listen. That is what I ended up doing.

I had a emergency brake shoe retaining pin get bent and hit the hub that made noise.

Wheel bearing(s) maybe?

Brakes (like mentioned above previously) or wheel bearings. My wheel bearing creaked at lower speeds, and especially when turning and placing a load on that side / bearing. Luckily, I had just bought my truck from CarMax, so they were able to replace it immediately.

But IMO, if its brakes, then it would sound worse when you are actually using the brakes. But if its while you're not using the breaks & happens under load (i.e. turning) then it's probably wheel bearings.

Brake pad retainer clips have caused this for me.. check them all, dust shield, lazy caliper, wheel bearings.. thats about it..

My rotational grinding was the wheel hub bearing. I bought a new assembly for <$100 (http://tinyurl.com/yygycuba) with this one.

The way I confirmed which wheel it was by jacking up the front, then trying to 'shake the wheel' by pushing on the top, pulling on the bottom, and vice-versa.

The 'play' in this was incredibly small, and not much different between my fronts (I didn't have to check the back). I picked the one with 1-2mm of more play and replaced it with a few hours work in the driveway.

What about the needle bearing? Check for play on your driver's side inner CV.

*Update*
Took the car to 4wheel parts about a month ago for them to install SS braided brake lines and new (from Napa) CV axles since my passenger boot was torn and one of those seems to have fixed the issue of the grinding noise

I had the same problem, it was my hub bearing

i had that from a section of my exhaust hitting my rear axle when it rotted off

check cat shields too
