Fog Lights - 5th gen in 4th gen

I've searched Google and this forum as best as I can and didn't come up with anything. So I figured I'd ask and if I don't find anything then it will become a how-to while I do it lol.

I have the Baja Designs Squadron fog light kit in my 5th gen that I'm selling, so I want these in my 4th gen. These are amazing lights and for < $300 seem like the best 4th gen fog upgrade there is. This being for an 06+ 4th gen, I'm not sure how the older ones would work.

This being the kit I'm talking about:
Toyota | Tacoma, Tundra, 4Runner | Squadron Sport Amber WC | Baja Designs

Has anyone done this swap before? I'm wondering if the factory harness in 5th gens is the same as the 4th gen so that it will work with the factory switch. If not then a BD harness and separate switch is easy enough. Then comes mounting. I'm assuming the conversion mounts in the kit won't work, but maybe they'll be close enough to make work? Lastly it's gonna leave a gap since the factory fog is larger in the 4th gen. So I'm thinking a sheet of plastic cut to fill that in.

The 2nd gen Tacoma kit works best I think. I think the connectors are also the same (9006). I believe the 5th gens are H11 like our low beams.

Take a look in my build thread. I have some directions in there.

The kit fits, you need to reverse the polarity of the connectors and drill one hole in the bumper to make the bracket fit.

Awesome, thanks guys! Looks like all I need to do is buy the 2nd gen Taco kit and replace my bezel/harness with that. Then if I'm reading correctly, that connector will mate right up, I just have to reverse the polarity of the factory side?

I was going to update this thread with some progress pictures, but Whytey and YETIX have that very under control!

I caught them on special from Rago Fab for right under $300, but that was for a 5th gen kit.
