Pic request: 17x9 -38 w/ 285/70s

I’m looking at replacing my wheels with some SCS 17x9 -38 offset wheels with 285/70 tires. Anyone have some pics of this setup on a square fender 4th gen?
I’ve been able to find a couple of trucks with them but can’t really tell from the pictures exactly how far they stick out and would like more references

Thanks in advance!

Thanks montijo! Came across your posts in my search for references. Sweet looking runner. I don’t know why but I feel like pics of 4th gens don’t give an accurate representation of what they look like in real life. My current set up has my tires sticking out about 1/2-1” past the fenders but in pictures they looked like they’re tucked.
I know this is subjective but how do you feel about the amount they stick past the fenders?

@Johns06yota non existent, but I did my homework and prepped in advance. I already had SPC UCA’s, I adjusted them all the way forward. I installed a 1” body lift about a week in advance and I also already had a pretty aggressive BMC. I did a test fit of the wheel with no tire before getting them installed and thought “oh crap there’s no way they’re gonna fit”. They fit no problems.

I always feel that way too! I’ll see it in my driveway or a parking lot and be like “damn!” Take a picture and it looks meh lol. I think they look way more aggressive in person!

EDIT: I think the offset/poke looks much greater in person. I struggled to get a good photo of it and still don’t think I captured it great.

Awesome thanks! I'm sitting at about that offset right now and was considering moving up to 285s. Good to know it can be done with the right lift/components

You have the boost to back up the heavier tires, jealous of the build by the way. Clean!

Really appreciate it! Right now I'm only running 3 psi until I tune it but for now thats plenty. In boost it hauls ass compared to stock and from all my measurements I took, the stock tune is able to account for it (fuel and timing). Just finished doing a 3/1.5 lift so stock tire size are looking a little small lmao
