4Hi Light Concern?

This has not happened before (as far I have ever noticed). I can put my 4R into 4Hi and 4Lo with no issues. When I go back into 2WD when I'm driving on the freeway occasionally I see the 4Hi green symbol flashing really quickly intermittently.

I can tell my 4R has moved in and out of 4WD, but I'm not sure what would be causing this issue and if it's something I should be concerned about.

Would love any thoughts.

hm, not a mechanic and dont own a v6 so im full time AWD, but how often do you put your car in 4hi and 4lo? Maybe a possible stuck actuator. i would maybe put it in 4hi and drive for a couple miles, throw it in 4low and drive it a couple miles than go back and see

I have tried doing that and I've noticed it randomly goes away. When it does happen it's not a slow flash like there's an issue it's a really fast blink almost like a light is going out or something if I can describe it that way. Doesn't even light all the way up.

Sounds like a stuck actuator. Try going under the car and hitting the actuator a couple times with a mallet/hammer

If its a electrical signal, your switch sends a signal, to the front actuator first. If that actuator has problems mechanically/electrical signal going 2h/4h, it wont send a electrical signal to the rear actuator to do its job.

Our gens are now getting to the age of having these problems. I had a blinking light syndrome, not a fast blink like yours, but a blinking.
Front electrical motor/connector have poor contacts in them.

My build has on post #222 on this.
