Well I got out on New Years and had some fun. If you're in Southern Michigan Bundy Hill is definitely a fun spot to hit to stretch the 4runner legs. A couple of nice tight trails and definitely some wild stuff that is fun to watch buggies on too.

Also got a new camera so after a bit of practice I will have some pics from rolling around here and there. Pretty amazed at the capabilities. Its a lot of camera to grow into but composition, angle, and catching the right moment are now my biggest issue

Went ahead with the transmission fluid change today. Fairly straight forward and easy as pie to do. I did a few things differently but I think it just sped up the process.

This nifty thing helped a ton. It's a transmission funnel according to autozone but it screws on the bottle and has an on/off switch as well.

Kinda felt like I was in an ER but the fluid flowed fairly quickly and extremely cleanly.

All patched up and done. I included a picture of the aftermath.

Had a dragging caliper a few weeks ago. It also let me know the rubber hoses are bad. They're all going away and getting replaced with braided steel lines. Might as well do a fluid flush at the same time since I have to crack the system anyway.

The pins took some work to clean up but they're good to roll again with tons of lube.

Spring is here again. This year for the winter months I used cosmoline instead of fluid film. I think the cosmoline did a better job. I have some paint and stuff to do on the armor due to rock chips but so far all my bolts came out easily and that's a good sign in Michigan.

Meet the new toy tool. I've been doing some photography lately and I've added a drone to the mix. I'll be testing for the FAA here soon but it's a good tool for photography.

What's in the mail:
Silicone vacuum lines (I inspected and found a few were looking old so I'm going to nip that nightmare in the bud)
Front brakes/rotors
Hubs and bearings from bluepit
Some new splash guards from ark.

Also need to do a power steering flush here soon.

I'm working on the headlights again. Mostly sealing work but the quads have performed beautifully and they look fantastic.

I might need to just bite the bullet on a new grille. Mine has been repaired too many times.

A little bit of brush up work today. I touched up the front bumper and rear bumper along with fixing the platform the rear tire carrier sits on. This time I used plastic along with 3m mold tape.

Then for the longest "fix" I put my home ec skills to good use and restitched some of my tire cover.
