Is this common? Anyone know how to solve this, or come across this issue? The car was disconnected for about 5min while I changed the battery and cleaned the connectors

Perfectly normal for this to happen, anytime you disconnect the battery or the battery dies you will have to "normalize" the window functions, how to do this is in your owner's manual, under "power window switches"...(I understand no one ever reads their owner's manual...BUT they should, it's made to help you understand how your vehicle works/is made to work, etc., etc., who knows you may actually learn more about your T4R if you do decide to read it!), how to normalize your windows has also been posted many times on the forum, a search should of got you the info needed as well, just an FYI you also don't have the "jam protection" function on any of your windows any longer either, so don't get your fingers cut off rolling up the windows...nor will your rear wiper work until you "normalize" everything, afterwards everything will be back to normal and you won't even cut off your fingers rolling up the windows.
To normalize your windows functions, lower the window halfway, then raise the window all the way up and continue holding the switch for a few seconds, your windows should now be normalized, repeat the process for the back window using the dash window switch.
