Need a DIY Transfer case

Did my searches, got tired of going through threads, even on google.

Anyone know where to find a DIY transfer case R&R for a v6.
And possibly a DIY rebuild of one.

Weighing my options on this.

Have a heavy clunk forward/reverse on heavy power up. Put her up on blocks, and can feel it in the case while rotating the tire.
Pretty sure I have slack on the chain.

Oh yes, I know that problem. Will follow your thread since I am also looking for a rebuild or total replacement for the transfer case, but for V8, 2UZ-FE engine of a LIMITED T4R. Additional hardship: I am in Europe and the T4R is a U.S. model.

So going off of pictures, I presume the input shaft is the only joining opening going to the trans on the 6 and 8. Just didnt know or couldn't find any info that there might be more opening to this project to be worried about or screwing things up, other than access to upper bolt and pushing this thing.
This was the best I could find on this.
